We are thrilled to announce that SMS has been awarded Principal Contractors (PC) Licence Management Systems Accepted (MSA) Status by Network Rail.

SMS, a specialist surveying and engineering consultancy, provides services to the UK’s rail industry. Celebrating our 10th anniversary this May, we have continuously grown and succeeded, always aspiring to become a Principal Contractor (PC) for Network Rail.

On Friday 25th May 2024, following assessments against NR/L2/OHS/CP0070 v6 by Network Rail’s assurance team, we achieved Principal Contractors (PC) Licence Management Systems Accepted (MSA) Status.

This achievement reflects the dedication, hard work, and professionalism of our entire team over the past 10 years, and we look forwards to serving the rail industry for the next decade and beyond.

Our Solutions

SMS Rail is a specialist in S&T installation, drainage, testing & maintenance services plus extensive experience in geomatics, land surveying, structural assessments, movement monitoring and ground investigation.

We have the capability to undertake construction projects such as cable route works, concrete bases, drainage and UTX installation. We also offer traffic management, line marking and station car park and approach re-surfacing.
